Storm King

Storm King is a solo for Bass Trombone without accompaniment.

This composition is inspired by the feeling of driving through an oncoming thunderstorm late at night.  The murky sound of the bass trombone thunders in the background before roaring into a deep rumble.  Chaotic lines gust around before the storm passes and fades into the background of the dimly lit sky.

Storm King was premiered at Central Michigan University by Tyler Dulinski
